Is Checklistor really free?
Yes. The workspace, all 30 templates, sharing, printing and every export format are free. There is no account, no premium tier and no feature gate.
Where is my checklist data stored?
Only in your browser's local storage, on your device. Nothing is sent to a server — Checklistor has no database and no user accounts. Back up any list with Export → JSON.
How does sharing work without a server?
The entire checklist is compressed and encoded into the link itself. When someone opens your link, their browser decodes it locally and they get their own private copy. No copy ever exists on a server.
Can I use Checklistor offline?
Yes. Once the page has loaded, creating, editing, checking off and exporting all work without a connection, because everything runs and saves locally.
What export formats are supported?
Print or save as PDF with a clean paper layout, plus Markdown task lists, full-fidelity JSON backups, CSV for spreadsheets, and calendar (.ics) files that turn due-dated items into events.
